Play Dough Recipe
Many of you have requested the recipe we use for play dough, so…here it is!
Play Dough Recipe
3 cups flour
1 ½ cups salt
2 tablespoons cream of tartar
2 tablespoons oil
3 cups water (food coloring added for desired color)
Mix all ingredients in a heavy saucepan and cook over medium/ medium-high heat, stirring frequently to avoid burning. Continue to cook until mixture forms a large lump in the center of the pan (it will still be a bit gooey). Turn onto a counter or board and knead until smooth (5-10 seconds). Cover and cool until room temperature, then place in a Ziploc or airtight container.
